Prerequisite: CHS 1000
This course introduces students to the inter- and trans-disciplinary approaches to recognizing, analyzing, constructing and deconstructing cultural texts. The course considers different kinds of cultural texts and ways of reading them from folktales, myths, music, monuments, rituals and games, to poems, novels, and political movements.
